Welcoming Two Associate Attorneys to Our Team

We are pleased to announce the addition of two associate attorneys, Catherine Kline Douglass and Marisa Robinson.

Catherine Kline Douglass & Marisa Robinson

Douglass, a third-generation lawyer, is a graduate of Sewanee: The University of the South and Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law. She began her career as an Assistant Attorney General in Montgomery, Alabama, where she primarily represented the State of Alabama in all appeals before state and federal appellate courts. Catherine joined our team in March of 2024. Her primary practice areas include estate planning and administration, real estate law, municipal law, and the representation of businesses and individuals in various civil matters.

Robinson, a fourth-generation Buckingham County native, is a graduate of The College of William & Mary and Elon School of Law. She previously worked with our firm as a legal assistant before and during her law school tenure. In addition, while in law school, she volunteered as a Guardian ad Litem in Guilford County, NC, and worked at the Guildford County Public Defender’s Office. Marisa joined our firm full-time in March 2024, where her primary practice areas include divorce, custody, criminal defense, and traffic law.

Joining our existing partners, these two associates will enable us to expand our practice areas and continue to serve our clients in Southside Virginia and beyond with even greater capacity.
