Associate
Marisa Robinson is a proud fourth-generation native of Buckingham County, bringing deep local roots to her legal practice. After graduating with a degree in English from The College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, in 2019, she joined Elder, Friedman & Allen, P.C. as a legal assistant, gaining valuable firsthand experience with the firm.

Driven to advance her legal career, Marisa attended Elon School of Law, where she actively participated on the board of the Women’s Law Association and volunteered her time as a Guardian ad Litem in Guilford County, North Carolina. During her time at Elon, she also worked at the Guilford County Public Defender’s Office and continued to contribute to Elder, Friedman & Allen during her breaks.

Upon receiving her Juris Doctorate, Marisa returned to her community and joined the firm full-time as an associate attorney in March 2024. Her primary areas of practice include divorce and custody matters, as well as criminal and traffic law, allowing her to serve a wide range of legal needs within Southside Virginia.

Residing in Buckingham County and practicing law in nearby Farmville, Virginia, Marisa remains deeply committed to ensuring accessible legal assistance for the residents of her community, reflecting her strong ties to the region she calls home.
