Carter Allen is a dedicated attorney serving Southside Virginia, having earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Hampden-Sydney College in 2016 and his Juris Doctorate from Liberty University School of Law in 2019. He joined the firm in the same year, bringing his passion for courtroom advocacy to a diverse practice.

Carter's primary areas of focus include divorce and custody matters, criminal and traffic defense, civil litigation, and landlord/tenant law. He diligently represents clients across numerous courts within the Commonwealth of Virginia. Beyond his courtroom work, Carter serves as the Assistant Commissioner of Accounts in Buckingham County and contributes to the community as a member of the Board of Directors for Crossroads Community Services Board.

As a second-generation attorney, Carter follows in the footsteps of his father, F. Acie Allen, Jr., who served the residents of Buckingham County for over three decades. Prior to embarking on his legal career, Carter worked at Hampden-Sydney College, fostering his connection to the region. His decision to pursue law was driven by a strong desire to return to and serve the people of Southside Virginia, the place he has always called home.

An enthusiastic sports fan, particularly of football, Carter has previously shared his passion by coaching at Buckingham County High School and Chatham High School. He currently resides in Buckingham County with his wife, Kinsey, and their two dogs, Casper and Riley, deeply connected to the "red clay country" he has always known.
